Merry Merry Winter!
Hope everyone is having an excellent ambiguous winter holiday.
drowninginoxygen asked: Just saw (and reblogged) your David Bowie photoset! I had NO idea you were into Bowie... Woah. Very cool! I'll ask a bit of a personal question, since most are literary.... Do you have a favourite musical artist? Someone that really inspires you? (PS: Come back to Seattle! I met you as a younger child, but not since then....)
princekilljoy asked: I love your work ! I met you once in San Diego (gave you and Tony a bracelet, but you may not remember.) As a queer male, I was just wondering if you'd ever consider writing an m/m fantasy story? I read the short one in The Poison Eaters and loooved it. Or is f/m just more fun/inspiring for you?
areusuffering90 asked: I saw someone else post about an artist's fan art and I just wanted to let you know about one favorite fan art that I've found about your writing. I don't know the artist real name but on Deviant Art they are known as Enmi. I would link you but it won't let me. =(
winterwidow asked: Did you see the pieces Abigail Larson did of Roiben and Kaye? :)
How have I never seen these before? Was it during one of those sleep deprived times, so that I believed they were part of a dream? Was their beauty so great that it messed up my mind?
Because these are ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS.
The Unseelie Queen (Nicnevin):
And the Seelie Queen (Silarial), both by Abigail Larson.
jaqen-off asked: So I was rereading Ironside the other day, and something occurred to me and I decided to ask: did you get the idea for the Curse Workers books during the writing of Ironside (when Corny gets cursed and has to wear gloves/avoid touching people and things), or did you have kind of an idea for the concept before? I don't know if someone has asked this before; if they have, my bad! :)
rowangingerraven asked: Think you'd ever do a sequel to VALIANT, it'd be interesting to see how it over laps with Ironside from their perspective.
90sgrungechick asked: We never found out what happened to Lolli in Valiant. Do you ever plan to bring her up again?
thefmradio asked: Is it a coincidence that your name and Rue Silver's both start with a plant and end with a color? Can't imagine I'm the only one to have noticed this, but...
stillmeaneverywordisaidtoyou asked: Have you ever been afraid that no one would like your work? (And are you ever coming to Nashville?! I've been waiting since high school!)
Can you tell who is who?
THESE ARE AMAZING.
Gingerbread representations of characters from (mostly YA) books. Cassel from WHITE CAT is there (with Lila) and Jem from CLOCKWORK ANGEL is looking pretty resplendent in his top hat.
Go here for a closer look at the gingerbread people and for the key to who is who!
