My first YA Softer World in awhile: ASW 369 meets RED GLOVE by Holly Black.
Lila and Cassel are perhaps my favorite absolutely messed-up relationship and this text represents the beginning of RED GLOVE perfectly. The first two panels are from the US hardcover and the third panel is from the redesigned paperback.
